INTERVIEW: Caffeine Augments the Lactate and Interleukin-6 Response to Moderate-Intensity Exercise | Pre-workout Caffeine

In June of 2023, I had the privilege of speaking to Kieran Abbotts, a Ph.D. student currently working in an exercise physiology lab based out of Oregon State University. Kieran’s recent paper, titled “Caffeine Augments the Lactate and Interleukin-6 Response to Moderate-Intensity Exercise,” focuses on an interesting cytokine and its modulation of lactate. Please enjoy the following interview and a huge thanks to Mr. Abbotts for taking the time to speak with me!
