Hey! I’m Gabe
I am on my bike 6 days a week, training and competing around the US. I mainly participate in road and gravel cycling (and some running when I am feeling harsh on myself!) After spending my free time browsing nutrition textbooks and medical journals, I realized that a path in sports nutrition was right for me! I obtained my ASc degree in kinesiology and am currently pursuing my BSc in Dietetics to become a Registered Dietitian (RD.) Furthermore, I am licensed by both the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the United Endurance Sports Coaching Academy as a sports nutritionist. In a world full of fad diets and social media trends, it can be tricky to understand what nutrients our bodies need to perform at their best. Whether you are a weekend runner, or a full-time endurance athlete, dialing in your nutritional goals doesn’t have to be complicated! My ultimate goal is to help athletes understand the crucial role of proper nutrition for training, competition, and recovery. I am a firm believer in explaining the why behind the how when it comes to nutrition. Simply telling an athlete what steps to take is not enough; rather, education is paramount in creating a well-balanced plan.
